This traditional Jewish wedding held at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens –a stunning Miami location– is one for the history books. It is a wedding that requires few words or preamble -the photos will tell you everything you need to know.
From that first phone call with Danit last year, I knew that this was a wedding I needed to be a part of. A truly down to earth couple that wanted to keep their wedding simple and family focused. Right up my alley. Here’s the kicker though –they were getting married at Vizcaya Museum & Garden’s; one of the most luxurious venues in Miami –an unusual contrast. I was immediately intrigued, as contradictions are what I’m all about! Ultimately, Danit & Jeremy wanted to host their families in a location that would be a treat for them. They didn’t want boring but at the same time didn’t want over the top. Their families travelled far and wide to celebrate with them –Jeremy’s entire family flew in from France and both had relatives join from Israel and beyond– and what a treat it was for them. Vizcaya’s intriguing Mediterranean vibe transports you somewhere else.. it definitely doesn’t feel like Miami. The intimate, historic feel worked so well as a backdrop for these two… so many little secret spots and lovely surprises around every corner here… like life. Perfect.
I think that by looking through these photos you will see what these two are all about. Every moment I spent editing the photos I had a silly grin on my face. And can you believe that Danit & Jeremy, self-professed geeks like myself, thought they would be awkward in front of the camera?!? These two rocked it so hard.
