My first wedding of the year for 2016 was one of my favourites. Blaire and Peter were married at the Park Hyatt in downtown Toronto on a gorgeous spring day. I knew my couple had a more simple, classic vibe in mind and weren’t interested in a lot of portraits.. instead, wanting a heavier focus on moments and authenticity. With this in mind, it was an absolute joy documenting their day.
I was also lucky enough to have my guy, Riccis Valladares by my side shooting gorgeous black and white Tri-X film. I think the mixture of the soft and grainy black and whites with the lovely tones of Blaire’s colour scheme made for a very classic wedding vibe. This wedding has such an old world, yet still modern feel to it…truly one of my favourites. The ceremonies were gorgeous.. the families warm and wonderful and Blaire and Peter glowing with love for one another and their families that surrounded them.
