Melissa + Jamie :. Tobermory Wedding Photographer

From our first telephone meeting, I knew that Melissa and Jamie’s Tobermory wedding was going to be a doozy. It wasn’t going to be the usual wedding fare –it was going to be extra special. Between the breathtaking location and the kick ass personalities –I knew it wouldn’t disappoint.

The stage was set at Melissa’s father’s hunt camp.. this amazing man toiled for an entire spring and summer to get everything ready. Clearing fields, erecting tents, scaring bears away… so that when the day eventually came everything was perfect. We didn’t get bright sunshine, but we did get a wonderful moody drizzle that definitely didn’t damper the bright personalities and the intense love I felt all day long. In fact, I think the weather just added to the fabulous drama of the day. Melissa and Jamie don’t do anything half ass, and neither do their friends or family. I’m so grateful that I was the one chosen to document their full-tilt wedding day…I can still feel the love almost a year later. Friends, after much waiting.. meet Melissa and Jamie!
