Melanie + Robert :. Sudbury Wedding Photographer

Melanie and Robert are one of my favourite couples. From the first meeting Melanie assured me that she wasn’t interested in stylized, posed portraits of any kind.. but instead wanted me to focus on what I’m good at –moments. I absolutely love when a bride has this kind of trust and confidence in me, it just makes the day such a joy to shoot. These two are an absolutely gorgeous couple, inside and out with families as equally loving and gracious. Two of my fave people.

The day of the wedding was grey and overcast.. which turned out to be a blessing in disguise.  To escape the rain, we ended up ducking in to a favourite little hole in the wall —Fromagerie Elgin.  The vibe of this place perfectly suited this elegant but understated couple. And seriously, fine cheeses and wine during portraits?? Yes, please.
