Okay, it has taken me WAYYYY too long to post this. This wedding had everything I love most… a laid back, killer couple, a small and intimate guest list, an incredible venue (The Fifth Weddings Toronto did an amazing job), CHILDREN (I adore children at a wedding) and just a crazy amount of love. Oh and can I say the BEST details at this wedding. The hand written notes on the doilies were perfection. I won’t say much more, but instead will include Darcy and Scott’s thoughts on the day:

After nearly a decade (and two children together), we decided it was time to make our little family “official”.  We set out to find a place that was unique, warm and charming. As soon as we stepped into The Fifth, we knew we had found the place we wanted to celebrate. The venue dictated everything that followed- the  number of guests, the antique feel and the love that we wanted everyone in attendance to feel. From the big decisions, down to the small details (even writing a personalized note on a doily to each guest) and writing our own vows over a bottle of wine after the kids went to bed- the process ended up being a lot of fun and made us grateful for the wonderful people in our lives. Planning a wedding with a newborn seemed like an insurmountable task most days but we couldn’t have been happier with the way that it all came together. Having each moment captured by the incredibly talented Shauna Heron, was simply the icing on the cake!

— be still my heart… I just adore these two!!!
